I squealed with delight when I opened my knit mitt swap kit from Kim (I think she just started a blog, but I don’t have the link yet).
When I opened the package, I was first greeted by a super cute handmade card. The crocus on the front was a lovely reminder that spring is right around the corner.

The bag Kim sewed is super cute. She made it using Amy Butler fabric, which I have a recent obsession with after sewing two nappy bag sets for friends. I love the pink, turquoise, brown combination.

She also sent chocolate, knitting needles, knitters little helper hand balm, a skein of super yummy royal alpaca yarn from Blue Sky Alpacas, and a pattern for Fingerless Gloves. The yarn is softer than soft and the rich cocoa color is perfect. Kim truly outdid herself when she put this kit together. I LOVE IT.
